By accessing or using CopyGenie ("the Service"), operated by CopyGenie ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
To use CopyGenie, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/EEA) to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
CopyGenie offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Free trials, when offered, convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.
You agree not to use CopyGenie to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or infringes on intellectual property rights; impersonate any person or entity; distribute malware or spam; attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service; resell access to the Service without authorization; or violate any applicable laws. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
CopyGenie uses artificial intelligence to generate content based on your inputs. You own the content you create using CopyGenie. However, AI-generated content may not always be accurate, original, or appropriate. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before publishing or distributing it. CopyGenie does not guarantee that AI outputs will be free from errors or bias.
You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or input into CopyGenie. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. CopyGenie's software, branding, design, and documentation are our intellectual property and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
CopyGenie integrates with third-party platforms (social media, payment processors, etc.). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party's terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services. Connecting your social media accounts authorizes CopyGenie to post content on your behalf as directed by you.
If you use CopyGenie's Creator Store to sell digital products, courses, or services, you are responsible for the accuracy of your product listings, delivering products and services as described, complying with all applicable consumer protection and tax laws, and handling customer support and disputes for your products. CopyGenie facilitates transactions but is not a party to sales between you and your customers.
CopyGenie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CopyGenie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay for your subscription. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination to allow for account recovery, after which it will be permanently deleted.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.
