When you create a CopyGenie account, we collect your email address, name, and payment information (processed securely by Stripe). When you use our services, we collect the content you create, your brand kit preferences, connected social media account details, and usage data such as feature usage frequency and session duration. We also automatically collect device information, IP addresses, and browser type through standard server logs.
We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve CopyGenie's services. This includes generating AI content tailored to your brand voice, scheduling and publishing your social media posts, processing payments and managing subscriptions, sending transactional emails (receipts, password resets, important account notices), and analyzing aggregated usage patterns to improve the platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Content you input into CopyGenie (e.g., brand kit details, blog posts, prompts) is processed by our AI systems to generate outputs. We do not use your personal content to train AI models shared with other users. Your content remains private to your account. AI-generated outputs are owned by you and may be used however you choose.
CopyGenie integrates with third-party services to provide core functionality. These include Stripe for payment processing, Supabase for data storage and authentication, social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest) when you connect accounts, and analytics providers. Each third-party service has its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure credential storage with encryption at rest, regular security audits, and access controls limiting employee access to user data. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records (e.g., payment records for tax purposes). You may request a full export of your data at any time by contacting support.
CopyGenie uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may also use analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand how visitors interact with our website. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

CopyGenie is not intended for users under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a prominent notice on our platform. Your continued use of CopyGenie after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
